Moorepay becomes Northern Powerhouse Partner

We’re pleased to announce we have become an official Northern Powerhouse Partner.

The Northern Powerhouse Partner programme, which currently has almost 200 members, brings together companies from every industry that believe in the economic potential of the North and are committed to investing in the region.

We’ve joined the partnership to help Northern projects and support tangible growth in the regional economy. Over the next ten years, we will be investing significantly in the region with the opening of our new office in the Greater Manchester area, expanding our apprenticeship scheme and working more closely with local customers and suppliers.

“At Moorepay, our aims and values are perfectly aligned with the Northern Powerhouse, making joining the programme a very easy decision. We believe in the massive potential of the North and are completely committed to working with others in the region to rebalance the national economy,” said Alistair Blaxill, CEO at Moorepay. “As well as joining the programme, we will be actively promoting the scheme to our customers and partners. By coming together as a single economic unit, we can be more successful and bring greater prosperity to the North.”

Northern Powerhouse minister, Jake Berry MP said: “I’m delighted to welcome Moorepay to the Northern Powerhouse Partners Programme. We’re bringing together a rapidly growing coalition of private and public sector organisations who proudly champion the strengths of the North. With Moorepay’s commitment to supporting the economic growth of Manchester and the North, they are well placed to help us turn our shared Northern Powerhouse vision into a reality.”

To celebrate the launch of our new northern office we are hosting a Grand Opening event at Lowry Mill on Tuesday 20 November.

The event will feature a drinks and canapes reception from 3.30pm, providing an excellent opportunity to network and mingle with other business leaders as well as industry and VIP guests.

Business leaders from companies big and small are all welcome to join us at the opening event – please RSVP here.
