Can I Get Reimbursed for Home Office Equipment Expenses?

Summary

The Government has introduced a temporary new exemption so no income tax or NICs liabilities will be due on reimbursed expenses for the purchase of home office equipment. Note that this only applies where employees have been instructed or allowed to purchase this equipment due to working from home because of COVID-19.
