Sharon Drummond

Sharon has worked in Moorepay’s Auto Enrolment team since April 2018. But she’s actually a returning staff member – she was also part of the Moorepay family back in 2001, when she worked on our Business Insights team.

Moorepay is currently supporting Sharon with her CIPP Certificate Course in Pensions Administration, which she started in October 2019.

Prior to working with Moorepay, Sharon worked as an HR and Sales Director at a book provider. She also has experience working for the Inland Revenue and for two different accountancy firms, so has a broad knowledge of tax and accounting.

She’s had lots of training on the job at Moorepay and enjoys keeping up-to-date with the latest changes to auto enrolment by reading regular updates from the Pension Providers and Pension Regulator – not exactly light bedtime reading! Her favourite part of the job is keeping her clients happy and ensuring the files she uploads are accurate – something that’s absolutely crucial when dealing with people’s pension amounts.

Outside of work Sharon loves the theatre. She reviews productions at a number of Manchester and Oldham-based theatres. Plus, she’s about to start directing a play which will next be on stage next year – exciting!
