What’s hot in HR? | HR annual survey 2025

Welcome to our comprehensive report on the UK HR industry.

2025 marks the second year we’ve ran Moorepay’s HR trends survey, and we’re delighted to report that we had over 400 respondents!

We began this survey because we’re passionate about keeping the UK HR community (including our customers) up to date and in the know.

This report is intended to help you understand what’s happening by shedding a light on the landscape of HR, taking the experience of professionals across the industry and supporting the findings with our own expertise.

Meaning you can feel informed and supported to make the right decisions for your business.

Methodology

This year, we collected responses from 442 professionals working within the HR industry.

The survey was conducted using an online form (via SurveyMonkey) and promoted on LinkedIn, emailed to Moorepay’s contacts and included in HR Grapevine and HR Magazine news bulletins to subscribers.

The respondents are from a range of business sizes (from 1 to 10,000+ employees) and a variety of industries. Their job titles include HR consultants, directors, business partners, and advisors.
