Moorepay Manager listed in prestigious Payroll Top 50

One of our Payroll Managers, Val Walker, has been recognised for outstanding achievement and has been listed in the acclaimed Payroll Top 50.

Every year, Payroll World Magazine recognises the hard work of outstanding professionals that have made an impact on payroll over the last year.

The list, which includes a wide range of well-known names from politicians to payroll managers, is an opportunity to celebrate a group of outstanding individuals as well as the payroll experience, legislation knowledge and entrepreneurship found in the payroll industry.

The 2014 Payroll Top 50 was announced at a champagne reception in London on March 20th following the Payroll World Spring Update Conference.

It’s a very challenging but exciting time for the industry, with new government legislation in the pipeline, and the evening was a chance to get the key payroll industry players together to celebrate their achievements.

After being listed in the Payroll Top 50, Val said: “Having been in the Payroll business for the last 40 years I can honestly say that there is no other Industry to match it.  Where else would you have a fantastic career opportunity of learning something new every single day?”

Val says her current role as Payroll Support Manager is both challenging and rewarding – with the introduction of Real Time Information really adding to the daily challenge.
