Summary
This private member’s bill, sponsored by life peer Baroness Kramer, would require regulations to be made establishing an ‘Office of the Whistleblower’ which would support whistleblowers. For example, by maintaining a fund to assist them and provide financial redress to those whose careers have been harmed.
The second reading took place in the House of Lords on 2 December 2022. Currently awaiting committee stage.
