Summary
This Bill was announced in the Queen’s Speech on 11 May 2021. It will create a new framework for recognising qualifications from overseas. It’s intended to improve the transparency around the entry and practice requirements of regulated professions, such as medicine, nursing and teaching. It has now come into force in the form of the Professional Qualifications Act 2022.
