What's the SSP Entitlement for Employees Contacted Through Test and Trace?

Summary

When an employee has been notified they have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, start paying SSP from the first qualifying day they are off work, as long as they are off at least 4 days in a row. SSP entitlement ends:

• After 14 days from the date of the most recent contact with the person who tested positive

• Sooner if specified in the notification

Waiting days do not have to be served.
