Select Technology (Selectec) is an award-winning UK software company that is a member of the IDEA Alliance, a group of independent companies located across the globe coming together to create an international solutions and support network. The Alliance specialises in distributing print management, document lifecycle and fleet management solutions along with card and biometric authentication hardware. Selectec carefully chooses solutions to distribute that are smart, simple, scalable and secure.

What we did for them

Selectec began working with a distributed workforce around 10 years ago. Because of which, they looked to outsource a lot of their back office systems, one of which was their payroll and HR.

Since working with Moorepay, Paul has no doubt that the services provided have saved them both time and money.

However, it was while dealing with a family emergency and travelling between Australia and the UK when Paul discovered the true value of being with Moorepay. Because Paul and Selectec had outsourced a lot of their systems to Moorepay, it meant that many things were dealt with in his absence.

Moorepay employees went above and beyond for Paul and the company while he was unable to work, helping manage  both payroll and other tasks outside of the regular scope. For example, our payroll team, lead by Selectec’s dedicated advisor at Moorepay, ran the payroll smoothly for him and ensured there were no issues, communicating across the time difference. This meant Paul felt confident to be away from the office without another stress on his mind.

This incredible dedication from the staff has really left an impression on Paul and Selectec, who said that one of their favourite parts of Moorepay was the interaction with the staff – as Paul says, “it’s always positive”.

In addition, he stated: “To date, there’s not been a single issue that they’ve been unable to resolve. And importantly, the follow up is always excellent as well“.

As for the system, the staff at Selectec love it, and when doing audits of the systems and software that the company use, Moorepay always features in the top 2 of their employees’ responses. Additionally, from Paul’s admin perspective he feels that the software experience is exceptional.
